Originally developed and marketed as ‘Cameron Airpark Estates’, this unique residential neighborhood got under way in 1963 with the construction of the airport runway. Adjoining the runway, construction of the homes was begun in 1968 and to
to date about 80+% of the 125 available lots is occupied.
Just north of the Airpark is a community lake, used for fishing and community events, as well as tennis and pickle ball courts and a swimming hole. South of the Airpark is the Cameron Park Country Club and an 18 hold golf course.
